White Card Training Adelaide

Your $89 White Card Training Adelaide booking includes complimentary
HLTAID009 CPR training.

The CPR course is not completed on the same day as your White Card.
It must be booked separately and attended on another available
training date.

You may instead upgrade the complimentary CPR training to
HLTAID011 Provide First Aid for an additional $50.
The First Aid course must also be booked separately for another
available date.

Students who successfully complete White Card Training Adelaide
and all CPCWHS1001 assessment requirements receive a nationally recognised
Statement of Attainment.

FACT Adelaide prints the physical South Australian White Card
on-site, allowing successful students to collect their card
before leaving.

Certification and the physical White Card can only be issued
after successful completion of all training and assessment
requirements.

White Card Training Adelaide covers the following core safety topics:

• WHS responsibilities:
  Understand workplace health and safety responsibilities
  in construction.
• Construction hazards:
  Identify common workplace hazards and understand associated risks.
• Risk controls:
  Learn how workplace risks are assessed and controlled.
• Safety signs and symbols:
  Recognise important construction-site signs and safety information.
• Incident reporting:
  Understand how to report hazards, incidents and injuries.
• Emergency procedures:
  Learn the correct response to workplace emergencies.
• Personal protective equipment:
  Understand the selection, fitting and use of required PPE.
• Safe work practices:
  Participate in practical construction-safety activities.

White Card Training Adelaide combines trainer-led instruction, discussion and
practical activities. Assessment may include:

• Written knowledge questions
• Verbal questions and discussion
• Hazard-identification activities
• Practical demonstrations
• Correct selection and use of personal protective equipment
• Communication and reporting activities

Before attending White Card Training Adelaide, please bring:

• Original photographic identification
• Any required proof-of-age documentation
• Your Unique Student Identifier (USI), or the information
  required to create one
• Fully enclosed footwear
• Suitable clothing for practical training activities

Please arrive between 8:00 am and 8:15 am. Students arriving
after the 8:30 am start time cannot attend training that day.

Students need sufficient English reading, writing, speaking
and comprehension skills to participate safely in the course
and complete the required assessments.
