Why This Course Matters

Advanced resuscitation training saves lives. In some emergencies, basic CPR may not be enough. Knowing how to use airway tools, suction, and oxygen can stabilise a patient until paramedics arrive. Employers value staff who hold an advanced resuscitation certificate because it shows higher-level capability and readiness.

If your role includes electrical or plant risks, consider Low Voltage Rescue training as another safety layer.

  • Valid photo ID.
  • Enclosed shoes and comfortable clothing suitable for practical tasks.
  • Arrive in the 3:30–3:45 pm window to finalise enrolment. Late arrivals after 4:00 pm cannot attend.
  • No prerequisites are required for HLTAID015, but check your employer’s rules for additional training needs.

Practical Examples — When Advanced Skills Help

  • A worker with major trauma and heavy bleeding that requires tourniquet use.
  • A child who is unresponsive with airway blockage needs suction and airway adjuncts.
  • A patient who needs oxygen while you prepare a smooth handover to paramedics.

These are the real events we practise, so you don’t freeze in the moment.
