International Student Visa 500
First Aid Certification and Training RTO# 45473 is not a CRICOS registered training organisation. All students using a Non Australian passport as proof of ID will have the passport checked using VEVO (Visa Entitlement Verification Online), the website provided by the Department of Home Affairs. Any Student holding a Subclass 500 visa will not be permitted to take part in the training.
Please note that this situation is not something that FACT Adelaide has any control over. There are very specific legislative requirements for delivering training and assessment to international students on student visas and FACT Adelaide does not offer courses to international students on a student visa for this purpose. While we understand that this makes it very difficult for international students on a student visa to obtain the training and assessment that they need in order to undertake key vocational short courses such as first aid, CPR and White card, ultimately, this is an Australian Government decision and we are unable to offer courses to these students.
If you declare that you are not a holder of a student visa in Australia and you try book into a class, upon arrival for your face to face training and assessment session where your enrolment is finalised, you will forfeit any course fees that you will have paid because you will have signed a declaration confirming that you were eligible to study at FACT Adelaide.
FACT Adelaide is commit to a safe work environment for both its students and staff and as such effective of 18 March 2020 at 6pm any student or staff member showing signs of any illness will be asked to leave. All students and staff are required to practice social distance and use the provided hand cleaner locate at the front of reception and in the classrooms.
Any person that has travelled from overseas is required to self-isolate and anyone that tries to attend training at FACT that has not practiced self-isolation will be asked to leave. Any person ignoring the self-isolation runs the risk of heavy fines and possibly causing injury to others.
We understand they are challenging times and at FACT Adelaide we are a family business from South Australia and we are here for every one of our students. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions. We have included a link to the Australian Government Department of Health page for anymore looking for more information.
